Volunteers

Volunteer Application: Online | PDF

At Hope Health & Rehabilitation Center, our volunteers play a vital role in creating the sense of home, family, and community. Our volunteers are made up of friends, family members, neighbors, students, and church and civic organizations. Whether you would like to spend some one-to-one time with residents, assist in group activities and outings, or help with a special event or project, we have something for you.

If you can give a couple hours a day, a week or a month, want to help on an on-call basis, or just come a couple times a year, we welcome you to join us as a volunteer. Share your gifts by visiting, reading, letter writing, lead or assist with a variety of activity programs, share your knack for music or cooking or another hobby or skill, put your green thumb to work, and/or accompany residents on community outings.  You may even be able to bring in your pet! Our residents and staff are grateful for every hour you give as part of the team.

Student volunteering is also available, and is a great way to spend time with friends and make new ones, while gaining valuable work and community service experience and observe possible career possibilities in the health care field.

For more information about these opportunities, or if you have a talent to share with residents, please contact Amy Schmid, Activity Director at (920)269 4386.  You can also fill out our volunteer form online or download it.

Opportunities are endless, and your talents, no matter what they might be, are always welcome.
